The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib that was designed to ensure a peaceful night's sleep in mind. It features an adjustable side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child in the evening without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is great for mothers who breastfeed! It's also lightweight and easy to move around during naps or when traveling.
We love that it's made of soft materials that have breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and comfort. It's available in charcoal and oak and comes with a variety of melange fabrics that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found that it was sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. bedside travel cot clicked into place and the zippers were secure for safety. It took her about 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support number available if you run into any issues.
The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you would think of in a crib for your bedside, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed using a stay-in place connection system. It also has six height settings. Additionally there is an inclined feature that can be used to aid babies with congestion or reflux. It's also machine washable, a must with all the dribble and vomit that comes with having a new baby!
The CoZee is an excellent choice for keeping your child close during the first six months of learning to sleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it could be converted into an actual bed. While it will not feed your baby or magically sleep them, it will rock them and send them off!
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive alternatives. It does have numerous great features. It can be used as either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib and is suitable for infants from birth to six months. It features a brand new mechanism to open and close the side panel, and is simple to use, even for one-handed operation. It is also more adjustable than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.
Our testers were impressed by the ease of use offered by the side panel, that can be moved up and down with a single push of a button. This was especially helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lowered by itself however it isn't recommended as this increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system ensures that the side panel will only stay down if it is attached correctly to the parent's mattress. This feature is great to have peace of mind when you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.
Telescopic legs enable the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases or beds with drawers. It also comes with tilting functions to help babies who are refluxy and a rocking mode that can soothe them back to sleep after feeding. It's also extremely spacious and offers great ventilation due to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our testers, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's very portable and can be moved from room room easily. It's also able to fold up into its travel bag, which is great when you need to transport it. The only thing our testers found is that the side panel did not flex as much compared to other models. This caused it to be a bit more difficult to observe your baby from the bed.
The Shnuggle Air
If you're in search of an ideal bedside crib that can grow with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth considering. Designed to be a co-sleeping bassinet that is attached to your bed, but can also transform into a stylish cot once your baby is ready. It's ideal for feeding at night and growing your bond with your baby.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other cribs. The dual-view mesh side panels and hypoallergenic, breathable airflow mattress allow for maximum airflow, keeping your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline option helps to ease reflux and colic while the zip down side allows you to feed or comfort your baby at night.
The cot conversion kit is also well designed, with clear instructions. It includes everything you require. It took us around an hour to assemble and was reasonably straightforward. The only downside to the instructions was that some images were not captioned. This made it difficult to follow. Overall, it was a straightforward process and the quality of materials used was high.

During our tests, we found the gliding motion of this next-to-me crib to be especially useful in helping babies fall asleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down side can also be accessible to feed or soothe babies in the middle of the night this was a huge selling point for our exhausted test mothers. While it doesn't rock or have extra features like a sound system, the Joie Roomie Glide's sleek design and functionality are a welcome addition our best bedside crib reviews.
